We had an absolutely incredible experience with Patty!! She was very open to travel to whatever location we desired. We chose to do our pictures at the beach. She was great with my young kids and gave us lots of different ideas and positions to try during the shoot as we haven’t done many photo shoots before. We did all kinds of different scenarios- My entire family, just my husband and I, each parent with the kids, just the kids, etc. She was very accommodating and open-minded to anything we wanted to try. I was a little nervous as we haven’t don’t many of these before but she made the entire experience enjoyable and fun!! We even had the kids get in the shallow water at the end and she went in the water with them to get the best shot!! I will cherish these moments and pictures for the rest of my life. I highly recommend Patty for your photo shoot!! She did an absolutely fantastic job!!

We got a Groupon for a 30 min outdoor shoot with digital downloads. Patty took sunset photos of my family of four at Sunset Cliffs and it was a great experience! She and her assistant were on time, friendly, and awesome with my kids (ages 8 & 11). She was efficient and got all of the shots we needed in no time. The best part is that we received ALL of the digital files in a timely manner, and there were many incredible ones. We highly recommend Canela!

Canela Photography is one of San Diego's best photographers. She takes stunning photos of my daughter. She is incredibly patient and enjoys working on new projects with my daughter. Patty is wonderful, knowledgable, and genuinely amazing at what she does. Also, it makes us feel so comfortable never rushes you out.
